The Stoler Report-New York's Business Report
The Stoler Report-New York's Business Report is a weekly panel discussion featuring business and community leaders which airs 8 times a week in New York City on CUNY TV, owned and operated by the City University of New York. The show also airs on educational, university and community public access television stations in the tri-state region. Since the inception of the program in November 2001, more than 1,600 real estate. business and community leaders have participated on the lively panel discussion. The show has been a recipient of Telly Awards and profiled in the Art's section of the New York Times and other media.
The Stoler Report is hosted by Michael Stoler, the president of New York Real Estate TV, LLC and a Managing Director, Madison Realty Capital.
New York Real Estate TV, LLC is the producer of The Stoler Report and two other broadcasts "Building New York-New York Life Stories" which also airs on educational, university and community television stations in the tri-state region.
The Stoler Report can be viewed on the Internet at a number of sites and is also available at the "App" store of iPad and iPhone and on Google Play store for Android devices.
It was November 2001 when Michael Stoler decided to produce a radio broadcast profiling the real estate and business trends in the Metropolitan area. The first show debuted on November 8th, at 11 PM, on WPAT 930 AM, airing every Wednesday, live from Shallots Restaurant. In September, 2002, the show returned for its second second airing on Wednesday evenings at 9 PM on WSNR, 610 AM, live from the corporate offices of First American Title Insurance Company of New York.
In September, 2003 the show debuted on cable television airing on the award winning CUNY TV, owned and operated by the City University of New York. The show currently airs 8 times a week in New York City on CUNY TV and also airs on a variety of educational. community, and public access television stations.
Michael Stoler is the President of New York Real Estate TV, LLC and a Managing Director at Madison Realty Capital, a private equity firm.
Prior to joining Madison in January 2009, Michael served as a Senior Principal at AREA Property Partners (formerly Apollo Real Estate Advisors), a leading real estate fund manager, where he focused on new acquisitions across all of Apollo's funds under management. Mr. Stoler was previously affiliated with First American Title Insurance Company of New York as a Senior Vice President, and Princeton Commercial Corporation and Michael Stoler & Associates, management consulting and financing firms which he founded in 1977.
Mr. Stoler is the host and executive producer of "The Stoler Report-New York's Business Report", now in its fourteenth season. He also serves as the host and executive producer of "Building New York-New York Life Stories" which began its tenth season in September, 2014.
Mr. Stoler is the creator, host and moderator of the "New York Business Report with Michael Stoler" which debuted on PBS in the tri-state region in September, 2012. He also serves as the real estate commentator on 1010 WINS AM radio: "The Michael Stoler Real Estate Report" which premiered in 2007 and airs on the weekends.
Mr. Stoler was the co-host of "The Real Life Marketplace" with Armstrong Williams. The show which debuted in September 2013, aired on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7 PM on SiriusXM Urban Power, Channel 110.
He serves as a "Contributor" and columnist for the Commercial Mortgage Observer and has served as a senior columnist for the "Commercial Observer" and the "Real Deal Magazine". He served as a real estate columnist and contributing editor for the "New York Sun".
Mr. Stoler serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at the NYU Schack Real Estate Institute and was one of the co-chairs of the annual capital markets symposiums. He frequently speaks and moderators at panels and events including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Realty Club, Real Estate Lenders Association, Building Owners & Management Association, Appraisal Institute, Association of Real Estate Women, Real Estate Board of New York, Long Island Real Estate Institute.
He is the creator, moderator and coordinator of "New York and New Jersey Real Estate Summits" and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Lenders Association and the Real Estate Practitioners Institute of Long Island, affiliated with Stony Brook University.
Mr. Stoler serves on the divisional board of Queens County Savings Bank a member bank of New York Community Bancorp.
Mr. Stoler is the Co-founder, President & CEO, of the Foundation for Medical Evaluation and Early Detection, a non profit organization which provides no cost health screening to the community. Since the inception of foundation in November 2001, more than 6,000 screenings have been provided to the community. The foundation is a benefactor to the Yeshiva University Program for Jewish Genetic Health. He serves on the Men's division board of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as the Chairman of its Young Men's Division. He was a member of the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and currently serves on executive board of the New York City region of State of Israel Bonds as well as the Campaign Chairman for its real estate division, and its banking, accounting and finance division.
Michael is an associate trustee of the NYU Langone Medical Center and was the chairman of the medical centers, Kaplan Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he implemented "Cancer Awareness Month". He served as the treasurer and member of the board of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, as well as the president of the American and International Friends of the Rambam Medical Center and American ORT. He served as a member of the board of the Hospital for Joint Disease, Helene Fund College of Nursing and president of the Joint Passover Association of New York City.
